Family-owned Ayannas London has been serving contemporary Jamaican food to the people of Canary Wharf for over 13 years. The space is smart – white tablecloths, a grand piano, black and gold decor – and the dishes are refined but still classic. The menu includes the likes of callaloo spring rolls with plum sauce, red kidney bean soup, braised oxtail, jerk chicken, boneless curry goat and rum cake. There’s a short selection of wines but the rum cocktails are really where it’s at.
