The Bridge Theatre is running a new season of one-person plays. As well as cutting down on the number of actors and crew, each show will have a maximum capacity of 250 to ensure that there’s adequate social distancing between audience members. The season includes Beat The Devil, written by David Hare and performed by Ralph Fiennes; a selection of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads, performed by the likes of Lesley Manville, Maxine Peake and Tamsin Greig; An Evening With An Immigrant by Inua Ellams; Quarter Life Crisis by Yolanda Mercy; and Nine Lives by Zodwa Nyoni.
