All you Wes Anderson fans will know that the director’s latest film The Phoenician Scheme has just come out, but you might not know that you can step inside the bar from the movie. The Red Room inside Bob Bob Ricard has been transformed into Marseille Bob’s, complete with giant pretzels in silver bowls, waiters wearing fez hats and carnations, and drinks inspired by the film. You can sip on a ‘Tycoon on the Rocks’ (a margarita that changes colour, like the poison test featured in the movie) or a ‘Virgin Novitiate’ (made with champagne, Hennessy and a Maraschino cherry), and snack on smoked anchovies with bread and butter. The pop-up is here until 22nd June, and then it’s only a few more months to wait until the Wes Anderson exhibition opens at the Design Museum.
