glum Monday evening was given a little San Francisco lift with The Fresh and Onlys charming the crowd at their show at Cargo. The four piece were supported by girl fronted punk band, The Abjects who put on a decent show.

Hitting London as part of their European tour The Fresh and Onlys are no strangers to the road. Having told us many stories of American parties and touring culture the band didn’t fail to impress with their performance. Their jangley garage rock, unusual lyrics and an entertaining front man made for a flowing set from the placid beginning and into real captivating rock n roll grooves full of retro surf guitar with hints of rockabilly.

The Fresh and Onlys released their fourth album ‘Long Slow Dance’ in September 2012 which you can listen to in full right here.  We caught up with the band for a chat last year too, check that out over here.
