LEXINGTON
7TH OCTOBER 2014

Turning up the heat in the run up to their forthcoming debut album are LOTI favourites FURS. You may have noticed they have grown a bass player, Amina Bates…or Amina Bass within FURS circles, who adds another striking visual aid to the already mesmerising indie outfit.

With a full house at The Lexington FURS walk onto a stage awash with psychedelic visuals as pockets of colour explode onto their backdrop. New single ‘An Eye On The Vicious’ held up strong in the set and is an instant hit with that infectious guitar intro and Danielle getting to show off her vocals. Musically they blend together elements of the Stones with the pop sensibilities of Blondie to make for some sexy and dreamy pop. They have crafted their art, which has slowly been building over the last year with the release of ‘Just Kids’…perfect nuggets of indie pop. FURS got skills!

New, and stand out tracks ‘Natives’ and ‘I Wanna Know’ are both contenders for future singles we hear and further aid why FURS are band you instantly like, they simply look and sound great. You can see why they have been support to the likes of The Allah Las, Ms Mr and Johnny Marr as well as appeared at this summer’s Emerging Artists stage at Glastonbury. Track of the night for us…’Just Kids’…because its cooler than cool!
