LAUNCH @ THE ISLINGTON

16TH JANUARY 2014

Emily and the Woods have started to cause a stir in 2014. Their new single Helios is loved by the likes of Lauren Laverne and Zane Lowe and so it should be! It’s beautiful tones and sensual beats make it a perfect choice from the delightful four-track EP.

The EP Launch was an intimate affair, perfectly suited at The Islington allowing us to come close up and cosy with this fresh-faced band. Emily charmed us with her between song chatter, whilst support artist Sam Brookes (worth a mention here – this guy was absolutely incredible) was on backing vocals as well as gracing us with some pretty swanky guitar skills too.

With the subtly driving grooves, some rather silky guitar riffs, and Emily’s humbly gorgeous tones, the set came together to give that sparkle creating a very promising EP!

‘Then We Collide’ is available now.
