New cocktail bar Little Mercies is opening in Crouch End and all you North London locals should get excited because there’s a crack team behind this place. It’s run by Max and Noel Venning (of Three Sheets and Bar Three) and Alan Sherwood (formerly of Scout and Peg + Patriot), so you can be sure that the drinks are going to be good.
Speaking of drinks, there’ll be cocktails made using modern techniques, including a Pornstar (clear passion fruit vodka, pink passion fruit cordial, wine and fizz) and a Delicious Sour (cider brandy, vodka, sour apple, apple caramel and egg white), as well as a short wine list, a changing beer selection and Nitro Cold Drip coffee on draft. They won’t be letting you go hungry either with a bar menu featuring the likes of a bavette steak bun and fried chicken with chipotle mayo, and a boozy weekend brunch offering too. Crouch End here we come.
