signed to Polyvinyl are Portland’s Wampire who are part of the same scene that spawned the likes of STRFKR and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, they’ve an album coming in a few months, and a new single, “The Hearse” which you can hear below and is out on 5th March. First single, “The Hearse” serves as the perfect introduction for those unfamiliar with the band, its opening notes swelling instantly with electronic organs over a driving drum beat. By the time bass and vocals kick in, you’re already hooked.
