Birmingham band that has caught our attention is Jaws, who’s new single ‘Friend Like You’ is released April 1st on Rattlepop Records. Beautifully shimmering and poignant track that shows the maturation of the band’s sounds. Jaws released the singles ‘Toucan Surf’ and ‘Surround You’ to much notice in 2012, growing a devoted following with their hazy blend of post punk, slacker grunge and new wave that has seen them tour the UK and play sizeable venues alongside fellow brummies Peace and Swim Deep among others. The band will be playing Birthdays in Dalston March 28 and are already confirmed for Camp Bestival, Bestival and Beacons this summer.
