LINA STORES OPENS IN KING’S CROSS

Lina Stores has been a Soho institution for 75 years and now the classic Italian store is expanding to King’s Cross, combining a deli and restaurant under one roof. Taking over an old Victorian transit shed and featuring the signature green and white stripes, the KX branch of Lina Stores stocked with the best Italian ingredients, from salumi and cheeses to fresh pasta and sandwiches.

The restaurant part has a mix of counter and banquette seating, and like at both the Brewer St and Greek St sites, fresh pasta is the star of the show. As well as faves from Soho, there are new dishes like osso bucco ravioli with bone marrow butter, duck egg yolk tagliolini with fresh truffles, and beef cheeks in barolo to try, and they’ll also be wheeling out a traditional Italian dessert trolley.

As well as Italian (obvs) wine list featuring organic and dynamic bottles and lesser known varieties, this Lina Stores also has an aperitivo bar so you can pop in for a few spritzes pre- or post-dinner too.
