Limeand Tonic launched in London last year, following on from the success of franchises across North & South America, Asia, Australia and Europe. The global organisation offers exclusive experiences in the World’s coolest cities, carefully hand-picked and curated with the best that each destination has to offer.
To celebrate the impending launch of the Lime & Tonic iOS mobile app, we were invited to attend ‘Dine Another Day’ – a top secret dinner party at a secret, extravagant central London location. Taking the guise of an Ian Fleming-inspired secret agent mission, the evening began with a car journey to the mystery location by a personal chauffeur. Complimentary drinks and appetisers were served upon arrival while we were issued with our brief for the evening.
Combining elements of mystery, intrigue and espionage, along with a whirlwind tour of a stunning London location, this was destined to be a unique and unforgettable experience. A constant flow of sumptuous food and drink was provided throughout; specially designed and artfully created cocktails, delicate (yet satisfying) aged beef sliders, a fragrant Kashmiri curry and finally a chocolate fondant with cherry yogurt ice cream to round the evening off.
The atmosphere for the duration was energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly fun; certainly a breath of fresh air from the stiff formality of other fine dining institutions. The staff were vibrant, friendly and knowledgeable; truly a stand out experience in all aspects.
