We’ve had our eye on Life House Hotels for a little while now – they’re one of the most interesting new hotel brands out there – and we featured their first Miami hotel in our round up of 2019s most exciting hotel openings earlier in the year. Only founded in 2017, the group has been rapidly expanding, and is set to have 25 hotels open or under development by the end of 2019.
Now there’s another Miami hotel coming up; Life House, Collins Park. At it’s core (and what we love about it) is slick in-house technology that runs everything from the booking platform to the guest check-in. As they’ve raised serious cash from Silicon Valley, it’s hardly surprising that it’s a brand with some serious smarts behind it. As with all Life House locations, Collins Park offers a guided 30-second iPad check-in, complimentary high-speed wifi, as well as a mobile app with a social network for guests to connect, meet, and plan or organise activities together.
Life House Hotels look seriously good too, with an in-house design team in charge of making it feel contemporary yet homely, with plenty of artworks and soft touches. The hotel is located in a quieter part of Miami Beach and features 52 rooms, a rooftop pool and Mediterranean restaurant made in collaboration with local operators.
This focus on seamless operation for both staff and guests is an approach that we love and one that’s clearly working for the brand. There’s hotels planned everywhere from Colorado to Brooklyn – and hopefully they’ll add London to that list soon!
