Charli XCX, Massive Attack, Jamie xx and London Grammar Will Headline London’s New LIDO Music Festival

From the producers of All Points East, all-new festival LIDO will debut in Victoria Park in June

After another killer edition in 2024, All Points East is expecting a little sibling as its organisers, AEG, will be introducing LIDO in 2025. The brand-new music festival will take over Victoria Park for two weekends in June and is being positioned as a “fan-first” event, while the line-ups will be curated by the artists themselves.

And they’ve scored huge names for their first headliners, as Charli XCX will be taking to the stage on Sat 14th June alongside fellow pop/alt superstars and Brat collaborators Bladee, The Japanese House, The Dare, 070 Shake, Kelly Lee Owens, A. G. Cook, Gesaffelstein, Jodie Harsh, Magdalena May and Yseult. That will be followed by London Grammar on Sun 15th June in a London festival exclusive, and the trio will be joined by the likes of The Blessed Madonna, Pip Millett, Celeste, Roisin Murphy, Maverick Sabre and Holly Walker. LIDO’s second weekend is completed by Outbreak Fest on Fri 13th June, with Turnstile, Alex G, Danny Brown and Fleshwater all playing.

Before then, on Fri 6th June, Massive Attack will be playing their first London festival show in nine years. Partnering with ACT 1.5, the band’s performance will. be100% powered by battery,  significantly reducing both carbon emissions and local air pollution. They’ll be joined by Air, Yasiin Bey and The Alchemist are FORENSICS and Tirzah. On Sat 7th June, Jamie xx will top the bill, following the likes of Arca, Sampha, Romy, Panda Bear, Shy One, John Glacier, Wookie, DJ Gigola and Livwutang. Jamie xx will also be bringing a special edition of his club residency The Floor to the park, featuring a three-hour set from DJ Harvey.

LIDO takes its name from its Victoria Park venue, Lido Field, and will platform local talent as well as headline acts. During the week, a programme of free arts and wellbeing events will take place and emerging artists from the East London Arts and Music school will get the chance to perform. The LIDO team also promises to work with local suppliers and prioritise sustainability.

Tickets for the Massive Attack show go on pre-sale on Thurs 20th February and general sale on Fri 21st February, with tickets for all other announced shows on sale now.
