The collaboration between Mercury Prize nominated artist Ghostpoet, Scottish producer Koreless and audio visual artist / director Alex Turvey culminated in a live audio visual experience last week at East London’s OvalSpace. The three creatives were put to task to explore ‘What Moves You?’ in the #MakeOurMark project for Levi’s. The experiment took them on a journey taking them out of their comfort zone and dissolved their individual structured process to creativity. Much of this revolved around the organic rural countryside of Wales where the soundscapes and footage from the natural environment where captured. The live result was a very surreal audio and visual experience with strange sounds and imagery over which Ghostpoet narrated a hypnotic speech like story. The elements of all this colliding together was incredibly compelling and the interpretation would have been different to the individual. Mysterious, beautiful and inspiring the #MakeOurMark project definitly make you think. Check out the final result below.
