Famed Israeli bakery Roladin, which has been going for over thirty years, is coming to our shores in 2023, opening a shop dedicated to its legendary doughnuts. Donutelier takes inspo from fashion houses and artist workshops, with a boutique store where you can see the doughnuts being freshly made and displayed on elegant brass cake stands.
And about those doughnuts – they’ll be loaded but in a chic way, not with half a bag of pick ‘n’ mix sticking out of the top. Signature creations include the Pink Royal, with wild berries cream, strawberry meringues, crispy raspberries and raspberry chantilly cream; the Pistachio, with chantilly cream & pistachio varigato, almond sable, pistachio nibs and crispy raspberries; and the St Honore, with mascarpone cream & salted caramel, white chocolate chantilly, and caramelised vanilla profiterole. If you’ve still got a sweet craving after devouring one of those, you’ll also be able to pick up a range of croissants, cruffins, danishes and cookies too. Get ready to go nuts for doughnuts.
