Learn How to Shuck and Dress Oysters at Noisy Oyster

Madina Kazhimova and Anna Dolgushina, the duo behind Soho’s Firebird, also run seafood spot Noisy Oyster in Shoreditch. The place is a real looker – minimalist and monochromatic interiors with plenty of stainless steel and exposed features – and the menu is more than a match, showcasing the best seafood from across the UK in dishes inspired by the coastal regions Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.

Given oysters are in the name, it’s no surprise that Noisy Oyster has them on the menu, and you can learn how to open and prepare them at this oyster shucking masterclass exclusively for our INSIDERS on Sat 14th March. After starting with a welcome drink – either a Belvedere mini martini or a non-alcoholic alternative – head chef Alfie Bahnan will teach you how to shuck oysters yourselves and how to dress them with raspberry shallot vinegar mignonette and Bloody Mary-style with smoked tomato water and horseradish crème fraîche. You’ll then get to enjoy your handy work by tucking into the half dozen oysters you’ve prepared.

Tickets to the masterclass cost £20 and include a mini Belvedere martini (or a non-alc drink) on arrival, the shucking session and six oysters to enjoy.
