Eat your heart out Andy Warhol
After something to wear to the Harry Styles gigs at Wembley this month? Don’t go out and buy a new tee, make one yourself at Pigment Press. Founded last year by Nathan Philpott and Jemma Ooi, the silk screen print studio at Shepherd’s Bush Market has been producing signage and merch for the local community, as well as working with London institutions like BAO and the Wellcome Collection since.
The studio also hosts workshops for the public, and we’ve teamed up with Pigment Press to put on a screen printing t-shirt masterclass exclusively for our INSIDERS on Sat 20th June. You’ll learn the silk screen printing process, used by artists like Andy Warhol and David Hockney, and have a go at hand-making your very own screen printed tee, choosing from a range of motifs that pay homage to Harry Styles – think watermelons, sushi, disco balls and joyful 70s vibes.
In celebration of Harry’s love of vintage, Pigment Press encourages overprinting of pre-loved garments and you can print on most fabrics that are washed and a light shade. Feel free to bring your own tee to customise, otherwise Pigment Press will have a selection to choose from on the day. As well as your printed tee to take home, you’ll also enjoy pizza from The Hawk’s Nest and fresh juices and fruit bowls from Oasis Juice Bar.

INSIDERS can book their tickets to the screen printing masterclass at Pigment Press on Sat 20th June for £30 below. If you’re not a member yet, sign up below for just £2 a month. INSIDERS get access to hand-picked experiences, exclusive masterclasses and members-only offers, all curated by our editors for less than the price of a coffee.
