Resale brand Positive Retail is all about slow fashion and sustainability, stocking its stores with overstock from cool brands and pre-loved designer pieces. It’s also helping you make the most of the clothes you already own with a workshop on visible mending, hosted by Nadien K at its Dalston store. During the session, you’ll learn about the visible mending philosophy and then give woven darning, a creative technique to repair knitwear, a go.
You don’t need any prior sewing experience to get involved – you practice on swatch before repairing your own garment – and all you need to bring is one or two knitwear pieces that need mending.
