Learn How to Make Your Own Terrarium at London Terrariums

Bring a bit of green into your life with this exclusive workshop

Founded by Emma Sibley in 2014, London Terrariums is all about making nature accessible and available to people, regardless of whether they have gardens or are remotely green-fingered. Over the last decade, Emma has written several books on house plant care and has grown London Terrariums into a botanical business that stocks a range of terrariums and plant accessories as well as runs terrarium-making workshops.

We’ve teamed up with London Terrariums to host an exclusive Minijohn Terrarium workshop for our INSIDERS on Sat 15th March, where you’ll make your own miniature garden to take home and watch grow over the years to come. The session will start with an introduction into the history and science behind terrariums, followed by a demo of how to put one together. Then it’s over to you to make your own, using the Minijohn vessel and a selection of Fittonia, Asparagus Ferns, moss and decorative stones. You’ll be able to take your finished terrarium home with you along with a care guide so you can help your little patch of nature thrive.

Tickets for the workshop, hosted at the London Terrariums shop in Bethnal Green on Sat 15th March, cost £30 (rather than the usual £45) and you can book them below. If you’re not a member yet, sign up below for just £2 a month.
