Listen up, dumpling fans!
We love a luxe Chinese restaurant and over at the Park Hyatt London River Thames hotel, Yú Gé, led by Head Chef Eng Soon Yeo, is serving up some excellent high-end Cantonese food. The Peking duck, carved tableside and presented in two servings, has become the restaurant’s signature, but the kitchen is also turning out some stunning dim sum too.
And now you can learn how to make authentic Cantonese dim sum for yourselves as we’ve teamed up with Yú Gé to host an exclusive dim sum masterclass on Sun 22nd June. As well as sharing the cultural history of dim sum, the restaurant’s specialist dim sum chef, Chef Xiaoling, will teach you the precise folding, filling and steaming techniques, enabling you to make your own dumplings just like a pro. Once they’ve been made and cooked, you’ll get to eat the fruits of your labour as part of a three-course set lunch, alongside two glasses of Chinese wine, and you’ll get a special gift to take home with you too.
