As a three-time UK Barista championships winner, it’s safe to say Kiss The Hippo knows how to make a good cup of coffee. From starting life in Richmond in 2018, Kiss The Hippo has now grown to five cafes across London and has also made great strides in terms of sustainability, operating as the city’s first carbon-negative coffee company. All the beans the biz uses are sourced ethically and roasted on-site at its state-of-the-art London roastery, it produces Great Taste Award-winning compostable coffee pods, and it also partners with On A Mission to support a number of reforestation projects around the world.
Great coffee isn’t just available at its cafes as Kiss The Hippo is passionate about making sure people can also pour a good cup at home. As well as selling all the gear you could possibly need, Kiss The Hippo also runs regular home brewing and latte art workshops at its Fitzrovia cafe. At this exclusive latte art workshop led by the Kiss The Hippo master brewers, you can learn how to create beaut barista-style coffee at home, including how to steam milk properly and pour a range of latte art patterns – and of course, there’ll be plenty of coffee to drink on the day too.
