LE CORDON BLEU TO LAUNCH LONDON RESTAURANT CORD

Slated to open in 2020 before the world had other ideas, iconic Parisian cookery school Le Cordon Bleu is finally opening CORD, a new London hub made up of a culinary institute, restaurant and cafe in the former Reuters building on Fleet Street, this June. The 90-seater restaurant, the first time the institution has opened one in London, will showcase everything from tasting menus to a la carte to a weekly-changing set lunch, with dishes like crab with cucumber & herb toast, sea bream with corn guacamole & confit lemon, heirloom tomatoes with chickpea panisse, and ginger panna cotta, and an extensive wine list that covers France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the New World.

The cafe will serve patisserie and viennoiseries baked fresh on-site everyday alongside sandwiches, salads and soups, and you’ll be able to take short cooking courses at the culinary institute if you’ve been inspired to have a go yourself after trying the food.

Opens June 2022
85 Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 1AE
