OUT, BUNS OUT. French-American duo Le Bun have taken over the kitchen at Chinatown’s Leicester House for a five week residency. Bringing their neon-lights, board games and VHS, they’ve turned the place into a proper old skool diner.  On the food front there’s a few new additions with a shrimp and scallop po bun, suckling pig bun with charcuterie jam and trotter hollandaise, HOT HOT HOT crispy chicken wings AND a brand spanking new brunch menu too. But it’s still so hard to resist their classics with the super rich pulled beef shin with bourguignon glaze, bacon salt truffle mayo and champagne slaw bun returning to the menu. It’s SO good. When it comes to the booze HELLO Jell-O shots, oh and the rest of the new cocktail menu…but fear not THAT instagrammable bloody mary with a mini burger on the side is still on offer. Worth going there for this alone just to rack up them likes. Le Bun is in residence until the end of May, get down there now for a flippin’ good burger.
