Marling is back with another newbie from her forthcoming album; it’s called ‘False Hope’ and you can have a listen below. Fans of The Marl (is that a thing?) will already be well aware that Laura’s new album ‘Short Movie’ is coming on March 23rd, and for those of you not yet in that category, let us introduce you to an artist who is yet to turn 25 and already has five albums under her belt (in seven years), not to mention three Mercury Prize nominations and a Brit Award for best Female in 2011.

Laura will be playing some intimate UK gigs at the end of the month at some extra special club-sized venues, taking to the stage with full band and electric guitar. You can only buy tickets via an ‘invitation to buy’ lottery, so you’ll be very lucky if you manage to get your mitts on one of those!

Wed 28th Jan – Hebden Bridge, The Trades Club
Sat 31st Jan – London, The Silver Bullet
Wed 4th Feb – Edinburgh, The Caves
Sat 7th Feb – Bristol, Thekla
