What’s better than a regular party? A pie party of course. And that’s exactly what’s coming to town as Lark!, the pop-up bakery run by pastry chef Nicola Lamb, teams up with Ottolenghi Test Kitchen’s head of pastry Verena Lochmuller. It’s gonna be a celebration of Wildfarmed grain flour and the best British fruit, with pies including plum, blackberry & damson crumble; beurre-hardy pear, caramel & vanilla; chocolate malt hazelnut cream; lemon meringue; and double crust apple lattice (plus a cheese & potato one thrown in for good measure). La Grotta Ices and Nonna’s Gelato will be providing the ice cream – flavours will include vanilla, rosemary caramel, borage honey & walnut, and loganberry – and there’ll be custard for your pie slices too.
