LANGAN’S BRASSERIE TO RE-OPEN

It was the place to be back in the 70s and 80s, and after a recent revamp the legendary Langan’s Brasserie is set to re-open in Mayfair later this year. With acclaimed duo Graziano Arricale and James Hitchen at the helm, the space has had a complete refurb and will be home to three floors of totally new interiors. Expect an immersive entry hall with a roaring twenties vibe; a bar area with walls of bottles stretching up to the ceiling; a sweeping staircase leading to the invite-only Langan’s Club lounge; and the all-new Raw Bar dining room.

As for the food, they’re focusing on British and French classics including the likes of beef tartare (prepared at the table) with spinach soufflé & anchovy sauce; the one & only Langan’s fish pie; hand-dived scallops with lardons & celeriac; and a big offering of fresh oysters, caviar, dressed crab & lobster from the seafood bar. When it comes to the wine, there’s obviously gonna be a French and European focus too, and with a licence until 3am, get ready for plenty of post-dinner drinking and dancing.

Opens mid-October 2021
