Land of Kings festival takes place over 15 venues in Hackney and showcases the best local talent the area has to offer. This year is set to be the best yet with a huge variety of events including a host of live music gigs, rooftop parties, pop-up restaurants and other weird and wonderful goings on.

This year’s festival will run over the first weekend in May and we picked out our favourite selection from the jam packed schedule….

Music wise we’d recommend catching TOY, Slow Club,  Horror’s DJ’s and Stealing Sheep..

We’d also suggest getting involved in the Live Speed Dating at Stoke Newington Airport, the Dalston’ Darlings Pop up restaurant, SlagBox (but don’t do it too early you don’t want to be missing out on the good gigs!), Meatwagon in the Eastern Curve Garden and The Walala Greasy Spoon.
