LA NONNA TO OPEN IN BRIXTON

Clearly we just can’t get enough of those carbs because another fresh pasta restaurant is opening in the capital. La Nonna, which also has a spot in Flat Iron Square, is opening its first proper bricks and mortar restaurant in Brixton Village, complete with a deli space selling DIY pasta kits, cheeses, cured meats and more Italian goodies.

The restaurant, headed up by Roman chef Daniele Pino, will be serving up the likes of cacio e pepe, creamy mushroom & truffle pasta, and Roman carbonara, all made using fresh pasta made in-house everyday, plus a range of daily changing dishes and Italian desserts. Having more space in Brixton means an expanded drinks offering, which includes natural and organic (Italian obvs) wines, aperitifs like campari sodas and negronis, and digestifs like grappa and amaro. Salute!

Hungry for more? These are our fave Italian restaurants in town.
