KUDU TO LAUNCH SISTER RESTAURANT NEXT DOOR

Kudu, the South African-inspired restaurant on Peckham’s Queens Road, run by Amy Corbin (daughter of Chris Corbin who’s behind The Wolseley etc) and her chef partner Patrick Williams (previously at Paradise Garage) and famous for that brioche bread with shrimp butter, is getting a sister site. Little Kudu will be opening right next door at 117, and is being billed as offering “tapas tastes”. You can expect dishes like potato flatbreads with smoked mackerel mousse, whole braai fish with homemade roti, lamb belly with glazed onions, and cockles with ember oil and sea greens.

Not content with adding a second restaurant to the fam, the Kudu team will also be opening cocktail bar Smokey Kudu at 133 Queens Road in January 2020, with a 15-strong cocktail list and South African-influenced snacks, so you’ll soon be able to do a Kudu crawl.
