KOREAN HOT DOG BIZ MYUNGRANG TO OPEN IN ISLINGTON

The Korean food scene is having a serious moment in London right now and we’re absolutely not complaining. Not only is Bunsik gonna be bringing corn dogs to Charing Cross Road and chicken joint Pelicana set to fly into Angel Central, but Myungrang Hot Dog will be opening its first UK site in the Islington shopping centre too. It’s already a firm fave across the globe with more than 700 international stores and now us Londoners are FINALLY gonna get in on the action too.

Korean hot dogs dipped in a crispy batter is what Myungrang is all about and you can expect the likes of rice cake hot dog; mozzarella and cheddar hot dogs; a squid-ink and mozzarella dog dipped in a spesh squid-ink batter; and a whole bunch of potato hot dogs which are dunked in cubes of deep fried potato too. And obvs you’re gonna need some sauces and seasonings to dunk those dogs in, so it’s a good job there’s more than 10 to choose from including honey butter, parmesan, cheese mustard and straight up sugar. Sounds like a banger.

Opens 2022
Angel Central, 21 Parkfield St, London N1 0PS
