Buying nice undies is fun making them yourself is even better, and now even total beginners can do it as ethical underwear brand Miss Crofton is launching a knicker making school, running twice monthly at Hackney Downs Studios. The classes cover pattern cutting, sewing and elastic application, and you’ll be able to choose the fabric and trims so you can make a totally bespoke pair of pants. With only a handful of people per class, everyone will get their own machine to work from, and the class will be taught with special care so you leave with enough practical experience to be able to repeat to the process again as well as with some nice new knickers.
