KERB Is Opening a Social Club in Spitalfields

The new bar is taking up a spot inside Spitalfields Market

It already has Seven Dials Market in Covent Garden, The Understudy at the National Theatre, and Corner Corner in Canada Water to its name, and now KERB is getting ready to open another bricks-and-mortar concept this summer. KERB Social, a mix of American sports bar energy and pub comfort, is coming to Spitalfields Market this August.

As well as having retro-inspired interiors, complete with bold colours and vintage memorabilia, KERB Social will host everything from Super Sunday screenings to Mario Kart marathons to karaoke, with state-of-the-art screens dotted around the clubroom and terrace. There’ll also be five private areas featuring massive TVs, pool tables, darts, games consoles and more, so you can book in for any kind of party you can imagine.

Three KERB traders will be in the house serving up perfect sports bar grub, including fried chicken from Only Jerkin’, hot dogs from Oh My Dog and Detroit-style pizza from Cutie Pies.

Speaking about the opening, KERB Social Club General Manager said “KERB Social Club is what happens when you take the spirit of a proper British local, mix it with the casual chaos and fun of an American sports bar, and give it an inclusive, modern KERB twist. This isn’t about gimmicks – it’s a reminder that community hangouts really matter. And for us, opening our first Social Club in a legendary market like Spitalfields makes it even more special. It reflects our heritage, but pushes things forward.”
