Kensington & Chelsea Art Week is back as part of the summer-long Kensington & Chelsea Festival. Not only is it celebrating the borough as a cultural hotspot and opening the doors to local creative spaces, but it’s also giving greater visibility to locally based creative talent. It’ll include installations, exhibits, murals, walking tours, events and talks taking residence across iconic sites including Napoleon Garden in Holland Park, Sloane Square and Chelsea Physic Garden. And because this year’s theme is reimagining, expect to see the likes of a live plant installation made from recycled materials; a giant sculpture collaged from vintage car parts; and a poetic light typography installation inspiring passers-by to contemplate life, joy and existence. With over 120 venues getting involved, it’s gonna be a big one.
