KASA AND KIN OPENS IN SOHO

If the news that Budgie Montoya is opening Sarap Filipino Bistro in Mayfair has got you excited, you’ll defo want to hear about Kasa and Kin, another new Filipino restaurant that’s just opened in Soho. Kasa and Kin is from the same team behind Kensington’s Romulo Cafe & Restaurant, and it’s got you covered from morning to night as it’s part bakery, part restaurant and bar.

During the day you can pick up baked goods like calamansi citrus tarts, purple yam & coconut doughnuts and dulce de leche pandesals as well as salads, sandwiches and noodle broths. The robata grill gets lit in the evening, so you can tuck into Filipino BBQ sticks like pork belly, red chilli prawn, five spice duck, ginko nuts, homemade chorizo and smoked aubergine, alongside hot broths, rice paper rolls, kilaw-style bowls, and Filipino-inspired cocktails.
