Following its Carnaby opening at the end of last year, Kanada-Ya, one of our fave ramen joints, is onto site number five in Ealing. Opening in the new Filmworks development site, it features an open kitchen behind the art deco façade and a large selection of Japanese-inspired booze. And the ramen is gonna be available for both dine-in and at-home slurping at both sites.
When it comes to the menu, Kanada-Ya’s signature Tonkotsu ramen is featuring on the menu as well as other favourites like Hiyashi Cold Yuzu Ramen (a cold yuzu broth, firm tonkotsu noodles, aburi style pork collar, spring onions & a whole hanjuku egg) and the veggie ramen (a shiitake mushroom and porcini-soya milk broth, asparagus & spring onion). There’ll also be some site-specific specials, but we’ll have to wait and see what those are when the doors officially open. And you can get 50% OFF food during the site’s soft launch from 30th September – 2nd October – make sure you’re on the mailing list for all the info.
