One of our favourite ramen spots is opening not one but TWO new spots. First up is Carnaby, which will have room for 60 inside and 28 more outside, as well as an open kitchen and counter dining for all the nood action. The second will be in Ealing’s new Filmworks development site, which features another open kitchen behind the art deco façade and a larger selection of Japanese -inspired booze. And the ramen is gonna be available for both dine-in and at-home slurping at both sites.
When it comes to the menu, Kanada-Ya’s signature Tonkotsu ramen is featuring on the menu at both new sites, as well as other favourites like Hiyashi Cold Yuzu Ramen (a cold yuzu broth, firm tonkotsu noodles, aburi style pork collar, spring onions and a whole hanjuku egg) and the veggie ramen which includes a Shiitake mushroom and porcini-soya milk broth, asparagus and spring onion. There’ll also be some site-specific specials, but we’ll have to wait and see what those are when the doors officially open.
