The vegan restaurants just keep on coming… Kalifornia Kitchen (no nothing to do with the Kardashians) is opening in Fitzrovia this November.
Created by Loui Blake, Kalifornia Kitchen is all about healthy grub rather than vegan junk food, so expect dishes like beetroot on sourdough with avocado rose, lemon and dill; a black bean, sweet potato, pico de gallo, romaine and cashew adobo burrito bowl; red lentil dahl with pickled aubergine, flatbread and lime cream; and aubergine katsu curry on the all-day menu. The drinks follow the same vibe with immunity booster shots, fresh juices and all-the-rage CBD lattes.
They’ve really gone for the West Coast look too with a bright pink and bottle green colour scheme, plant-lined walls and neon signs…basically total insta-bait…but at least you won’t miss it.
