Cuervo tequila has teamed up with hip Hackney hangout People’s Park Tavern to create an outdoor Mexican hacienda in the pub’s MASSIVE garden. You’ll be able to get tasty tequila cocktails and Mexican-inspired bites, all served from an outdoor summer kitchen. Two cocktails we’ve got our eye on are the Zapata’s Tears, a frozen slushy made with Jose Cuervo, rose, grapefruit, People’s sour ale and chocolate bitters and Bloody Chelada, People’s sour ale, blood orange soda, Jose Cuervo and a grapefruit salt rim.

Open from noon every day, the hacienda is set to bring a Mexican heat wave to the middle of Hackney, and with Lovebox and Field Day just round the corner in Victoria Park, it’s the ideal spot for a pre-festival drink, too.
