Jones & Sons Is Heading to South Woodford

Andy Jones is heading further east for his next venture

Jones & Sons has long been a Dalston fave but now founder Andy Jones is bringing its magic to a whole new neighbourhood with the launch of Jones & Sons E18 this summer. The new site in South Woodford, which’ll be taking over the old Elmo’s Pizza site inside the Elmhurst estate, will encompass a restaurant, chef’s table, bar, events space and 50-cover terrace split across two floors.

E18 will nod to the Dalston original in both its design (the restaurant was the setting for Boiling Point starring Stephen Graham), with plaster-wash walls, dark floors, stone tables and marble bar tops, and its food offering. Kieran Hope, head chef at the OG Jones & Sons, will be overseeing the menu at the new restaurant, using the best seasonal British produce to create dishes like:

  • tuna ceviche with strawberry ponzu & sesame
  • Caesar salad with croûtes, parmesan, bacon & anchovy mayo
  • crab tagliatelle with chilli & spring onion
  • tempura courgette flower with goat’s cheese & wild honey
  • honey miso cod with apple dashi
  • poached pear & almond frangipane tart with chantilly cream

The legendary Saturday bottomless brunch, including dishes like wild mushrooms & poached eggs on sourdough and buttermilk fried chicken & waffles with maple syrup, and Sunday roasts with all the trimmings will also be making the move east, so Jones & Sons E18 will keep you well fed all week long.

Opens June 2024
