Well, if English isn’t your strong point that is but let’s go with that line anyway. Total ledgebomb (that’s his correct title FYI) Johnny Marr graced Maida Vale with his presence early last Monday for a 6 Music live session and as you can imagine it got a bit messy, what from everyone’s minds being blown and that.

The former Smiths axeman even answered burning questions from the audience inbetween songs- No! There will be no Smiths reunion. Yes! The penning of a book will begin in about 18 months. Yes! Johnny Marr is as quick witted as he is talented. Okay, so no one actually questioned his wit but we could gather it as much from the conversations taking place.
The setlist included tracks from Marr’s new album ‘Playland’ but we also got treated with classics from The Smiths and Electronic, safe to say no one felt bad pulling a sickie from work that morning then!
