A SECOND ARCADE FOOD HALL IS OPENING AT BATTERSEA POWER STATION

Arcade Food Hall only launched on Tottenham Court Road in 2022 but no time is being wasted in rolling the concept out

The second Arcade Food Hall at Battersea Power Station is opening this summer and it’s going to be a whopper of a site, with seating for 500, seven kitchens, three restaurants, two bars and a private dining room. Some of the existing Arcade brands will be making the move south, including Hero Indian fast food, Sushi Kamon, Tipan Tipan Nepali street food and shawarma kitchen Shatta & Toum, with a number of fresh new concepts debuting. They include Phed Power, doing fiery food from Isan, Thailand; Flat Bread by TikTok butter king Thomas Straker; Cantonese comfort food at Siu Siu; and authentic gelato at Leccami Gelato. The ABC Bar will be shaking up classic cocktails and the Tap Room, boasting a wall of 32 taps, will have beers from across South London and the world.

The Battersea Arcade will also be home to three standalone restaurants, one of which will be grilled chicken and steak concept Solis from TĀ TĀ Eatery. Another will be a brand new outpost of BAO Noodle Shop, featuring the same beef noodle soups available at the Shoreditch site alongside new creations including Sanbei Tofu BAO, breadcrumbed fried tofu glazed with sanbei sauce and finished with vegan mayo, and Danzai Noodles in a pork and shrimp broth topped with prawns and pork mince.

The final standalone site will be the first restaurant from Manna restaurant (it’s a trader in the OG Arcade). As well as serving the smashburgers and fried chicken it’s become known for, Manna will also be doing Battersea-exclusive dishes, including the Hot Bonnet Fish Filay, the Chicken Block Burger and the Manna Apple Pie. Sounds like Battersea is really getting put on the foodie map.
