Make a pit stop at Jin Bao next time you go to Kew Gardens
We’re always on the lookout for a good cheap eat and this unassuming spot in Richmond defo fits the bill. A small shop inside what used to be an old taxi rank right by Kew Gardens station, Jin Bao serves up a short menu of Northern Chinese bao and dumplings, all handmade daily.
Alongside the bao (fillings include pork & cabbage, beef & coriander, mushroom & vegetables, prawn & chive, and red bean), there are chicken, pork and veggie grilled dumplings, wonton soup, and jianbing (Chinese crepes filled with eggs and wonton crackers) on offer. And don’t forget the Malaysian milk tea.
