Jimmy Garcia is no stranger to a pop-up – he’s currently got one on the Southbank and one in Stratford – but for his latest venture, he’s gone to new heights, literally. Sky high Dining is a pop-up restaurant on board the Emirates Air Line, the cable car suspended 90m above the Thames.
Running on Wednesdays and Thursdays over the summer, you’ll be able to feast on a five course menu, including scallop with chickpea, chorizo and cauliflower; lamb rump with peas and broad beans, ricotta gnudi with brown butter dressing and an aerated mint and white chocolate dessert, whilst enjoying some epic views of the city’s skyline. And each ticket includes bubbles on arrival, wine during the flight and a cocktail to finish off the evening.
