Get a taste of island life without leaving Bethnal Green at Caribbean food festival Jerk & Beyond. Taking over Oval Space for three days, Jerk & Beyond will bring you the best of the Caribbean, with Latin and French-Caribbean food and music on Friday, with DJs Just Vibez on the decks; a celebration of Trinidad & Tobago with Soca Saturday, featuring carnival dancers and music from the likes of Xone, DJ Paulie, DJ Raskal, and DJ Armani; and reggae day on Sunday, with bouncy castles, face painting, floral art workshops, hot wings challenges, fire throwers and more.
Throughout the festival there’ll be food from traders including Limin’ Beach Cub, Yard2Yard, The Cocobut Shack, Treats Club, Tastopia, Rum Cakes, Jam Delish and Bokit’la so you defo won’t’ be going hungry.
