Jason Atherton Is Opening Neighbourhood Bistro Three Darlings in Chelsea

Yes, new restaurants from Atherton just keep on coming

The opening of Three Darlings, the Chelsea bistro named after Keziah, Jemimah and Athena, Jason and Irha Atherton’s three daughters, was announced by the pair back in June. Since then, Atherton has opened Hotdogs by Three Darlings in the Harrods Dining Hall, grill house Mary’s on the site of Pollen Street Social in Mayfair, and British brasserie Sael in St James And he’s got Row on 5, led by Spencer Metzger, still to come, because why open four restaurants when you could do five?

Executive Chef Jake Oswin (ex-Dinner by Heston) will be leading the kitchen at the 85-cover Three Darlings, doing modern English dishes with European influences across breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’ll be lots of wood-fire cooking and stone baking, so you can expect dishes like:

  • Smoked brisket with a fried duck egg and XO gravy
  • Skate schnitzel with anchovy & Amalfi lemon dressing
  • British Iberico pork chop with seasonal chutney

As well as cocktails like the Three Darlings Martini (made with vodka, St Germain, dry vermouth and yuzu Genmaicha cold brew), the drinks offering will also include ‘mom and pop’s wine cellar’, where special bottles will be available at exclusive prices.
