JACKSON BOXER IS TAKING OVER THE CORNER RESTAURANT AT SELFRIDGES

The Corner on the department store’s second floor is getting a new resident this autumn

If you’re perusing the racks in the Women’s Designer Galleries on Selfridges’ second floor and hunger strikes, you won’t have very far to go to get a bite to eat as Jackson Boxer is taking up residence in The Corner restaurant this September. Boxer, who also runs Brunswick House in Vauxhall and Orasay in Notting Hill and directs the kitchen at Cowley Manor in the Cotswolds, is known for his thoughtful seasonal cooking and that’s very much the approach he’s taking at The Corner.

His menu will include dishes like:

  • smoked eel, mushroom & beetroot spike
  • Isle of Skye langoustine with mayo & green chilli salsa
  • XXL Hebridean diver scallop with artichoke & autumn truffle
  • smoked butter noodles with Madagascan pepper & comte or with Umai Modern caviar
  • fried veal sandwich with smoked tuna & caper mayo
  • Cru Virunga chocolate with frozen goat’s milk

Jackson’s takeover of The Corner is being billed as a residency but with no end date confirmed, he’s probably going to be there for a while.

Opens Fri 22nd September 2023
