Pizza purveyors Made of Dough are bringing a new all-day Italian bar and diner to Crystal Palace. Palazzo will be a chilled out restaurant slash record library by day and by night, it’ll transform into a lively bar with a line-up of DJs playing vinyl until late. They’ll be launching in May with a celebratory 30% off all food and in July will open up their terrace too for some outdoor dining and aperitifs.
They’ll be serving lunch and dinner, Monday to Sunday, with a menu of classics like pork & veal meatballs; anchovy bread; burrata with tomato & olive oil; zucchini fritti; and a range of pizzas. On the weekends there’ll be brunch, with options including ricotta hotcakes and baked eggs with tomato & pangrattato, and, of course, cocktails. The drinks offering will centre around Italian wines, classic cocktails and draught beer from Brick Brewery and the Drop Project. This is set to be a buzzing neighbourhood hangout so all you SE Londoners get excited.
