We
all love a trip to the Fairground right? Well lucky for you there’s a brand new Fairground heading for East London and it features absolutely no crap rides. Oh yes, Fairground is the new project from Dom Cools-Lartigue, the founder of Street Feast. The new venue will have 3 floors:
Level 1 – Fairground Live – an event space with live music and installations, including brand takeovers from the likes of WAH! Nails, Run Dem Crew, with the launch weekend kicking off with a pre Glastonbury party from Love Bullets, reminiscent of their takeovers at Shangri-La field.
Level 2 – The Grandaad lounge – A destination for creative minds, where the weekend supplements will come to life. An immersive space incorporating guest speakers, workshops, masterclasses, talks and interviews, visitors can expect to be educated with a different roster of inspirational line ups from week to week.
Level 3 – A top floor restaurant space run by changing guest chefs and restaurants. Launch weekend kicks off with an exclusive Busaba Eathai takeover, showcasing new recipes for the first time in line with SongKran (Thai New Year). All of this will be accompanied with food by Andy Oliver, (from The Begging Bowl) hosting his new venture Som Saa.
We can’t guarantee there will be no pikeys at this fairground, but if they look like Ryan Gosling we won’t be complaining.
Launches Fri 12th April for 10 weeks in East London.
