Synthydisco grooves from across the pond this weekend, as a new electronic act hits the scene all the way from Dublin. PLUTONIC DUST come to London this weekend to share their unique brand of space disco with you, after enjoying success as a new band in the busy music capital.
Fusing heart-hitting synth melodies with punk and funk style bass lines, Plutonic Dust are an eclectic mix that’s always fun to dance to. Lo-fi analogue disco beats and sensual vocals create a cinematic quality to their live performance, which echoes the trippy disco style of Blondie and Little Dragon.
This is their first performance in the UK, which will be an opportunity for them to check out the London music scene: “The upcoming gigs in London (The Magic Garden, Battersea on Friday 21st and the Fox and Firkin, Lewisham on Saturday 22nd) will be our first time performing together outside of Ireland and we are so excited and delighted to have gotten two great venues. We hope to return in the New Year and for some of the band members it’s our first time visiting London. We’ve heard fantastic things about the city and look forward to meeting fellow disco lovers on the other side of the pond.”
Don’t miss their London debut!
