We all know how badly the toxic goop that comes with living in a city can affect your skin but it’s easy to forget it also wreaks havoc on your hair too…pollution can damage your scalp, which in turn impacts on the health of your hair.
Swiss haircare brand Kerluxe, which recently launched in the UK, has created treatment regimes similar to those you would use for your face for your scalp and hair. Each of their six collections, designed for a specific haircare concern, contains four products (shampoo, conditioner, mask and leave-in treatment), one for each step of their cleanse, hydrate, treat and protect programme, and they all contain active ingredients like hyaluronic acid, marine collagen and peptides.
The Luminage range, packed with hyaluronic acid and collagen, is designed to hydrate and restore hair that’s become damaged from styling and colouring; the Crystalisse products contain antioxidants and a patented Puricare Peptide to stop any nasties clinging to scalp and making your hair look dull; and Resplendisse, with its combo of jojoba, macadamia and copaiba oils, is the one to go for if you need help fighting the frizz.
