frontman Paul Banks has announced the release of his third solo record entitled ‘Banks. The new record follows the release of J’ulian Plenti Is… Skyscraper’ from August 2009 and ‘Julian Plenti Lives…’ back in June this year. You can listen to ‘The Base’ which is taken from the new LP below. Bank’s voice sounds particularly lush in his signature Baritone style. It’s not exactly Interpol, and nor would we expect it to be, it reminds us of Ian Brown though intertwined with the beautiful more delicate moments of Interpol. Whatever it is, we like.
